The Role of the Committee

Based on Committee Discussions - Feb 23rd, 2009

• We see our role as ensuring that there is a strong social action component in the development of programs that support the IRI vision.

• We want to concentrate on developing family service agencies as partners to serve low-income families

• We want to support programs which cultivate more racial, cultural, national and ethnic diversity in the Imago community on our faculty, our board, and in our therapeutic community.

• We want to identify where potential funding might be available to develop the marriage education field as an opportunity to reach more couples with Imago.

• As we cultivate these possibilities we will be creating a foundation to attract those with an interest in philanthropic giving, and will lead the process to identify these sources and cultivate them.
