The Research committee is chaired by Theresa Beeton-Clark, with help from Tani Strain, Robert MacIntyre and Bernard Baca.

During 2007 and 2008 the committee have been running an extended project to evaluate the effectiveness of the "Getting The Love you Want" workshop.  Over 400 participants completed initial forms, with follow-up after 6 and 12 months.  Initial results will be reported at the Portland conference.

A $50,000 grant from Harville and Helen has made it possible for Theresa Beeton to complete a study using QEEG to monitor the changes in the brains of couples taking both the workshop and therapy.  We also expect to learn initial results in Portland.

During the last year the focus has been on evaluating these projects, to develop clear conclusions, and finding ways to publish the results.
