Educator Training Task Force

Formed by the faculty in early 2009 to achieve the following objectives.

Objectives:

• Design a training and a manual for Educators separate from the clinical training.
• Identify the role of the Educator
• Identify the Educator course in relationship with the faculty
• Identify who teaches the Educator course

Marketing strategy

The strategy committee has developed a strategic brief, outlining our perspective on the market and how we plan to develop it.

• Klaus and Eveline to complete Track B – and provide info so we can get quotes for translation
• Track A to be put together by Tim based on what exists – see table below
• Materials for Track A to be prepared in a cost-effective way by creating
  • Leader’s guide as powerpoint slides + notes
  • Short educators manual, with just the key information they need + annotated presenter slides
• Investigate training faculty through webinars, not face-to-face
• Task force members to arrange pilots of Track A
