IMAGO GLOBAL SUMMIT, October 31-November 2, 2008
Forty three Global representatives gathered at Collins Retreat Center in Eagle Creek, Oregon for our sixth Global Summit. We welcomed representatives from 21 Imago regional groups. We missed our Global representatives who could not join with us.
We initially connected by creating a human time line of our five previous Summits as a preparation for our initial Communolgues which explored where we envision ourselves as a Global community of regions, as a Global Committee and as a Global Summit in five to ten years. As we shared in large, small, and "fishbowl" Communologues, we deepened our sense of We are We, reminding ourselves that this is the vision which we are still living into. We invited ourselves to set an intention of “co-creating,” by taking responsibility for building our regional groups rather than just asking "what are we receiving."
The beauty of the area, with the leaves of tall trees turning colors, was awesome. The warmth of friendships, old and new, was felt as we connected, worked hard, and had lots of fun. We enjoyed Halloween, danced, laughed hard, shared jokes and high energy fun. The food was delicious. We wish you all could have been there with us. And we say, Next year in El Sueno!
